·   Conducted research in filed of Exportable Vehicle Power Microgrid Using Smart Power Management in cooperation of US Hybrid

-Investigate the technical feasibility and verify the technical viability of a smart microgrid that includes (i) exportable vehicle power system (EVPS) units, (ii) Auxiliary Power Supply (APU) units, and (iii) utility distribution system.

·     Conducted research in filed of application of power electronics in Distributed Generation:

-          Investigation of voltage sag on  Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based wind farm

-          Ride-Through Voltage Capability (RTVC) of Wind-Turbine Generation System (WTGS) during faults

·     Conducted research in filed of application of power electronics in power system (FACTS):

-          Conducted modelling and analysis of Dynamic Flow Controller (DFC) as a new member of FACTS controllers in cooperation of ABB

-          Designing Discrete-Event Systems Supervisory Control for a Dynamic Flow Controller

·     Supported Aerospace Electric Power Advanced Technology, Generation and Power Conversion R&D projects

-Provided system design and control optimization for High Voltage Electric Accumulators with internal distributed dc-dc converters for self-regulation and protection

-Developed real-time dynamic models for simulation/design of variable speed constant frequency Generator,

-Provided technical oversight for all aspects of design and development of Advanced Matrix Converter

-Provided system design and control optimization for Main Engine Electric Starter Generator project
