Command central

During Phase One of the Commons, I asked if I could get an "ergonomic" desk. Well, this is it. Almost everything is adjustable. The monitor sits in a "well" and can move up and down and slide back and forth. As you lower it, it automatically tilts to maintain an optimal viewing angle. The keyboard surface can be adjusted vertically as well as tilted. I find the desk really does make a difference. Looking slightly down at my screen reduces neck strain. I've also abandoned my mouse for a touchpad. It took me about a day to get used to it but, because you only use your finger, there is less wrist/arm strain. And, because the pad doesn't move, I don't have to "look" for it on my desk or give up as much desk space. Just behind the phone is my talking Darth Vader bank ("...very interesting, but you are not a Jedi yet!").
