Technical, Institutional and Physical Capacity There are a number of organizations that are devoted to improving the technical and institutional capacity of developing nations to provide access to medicines. § The WHO Essential Drug and Medicines Policy website contains a wealth of information on efforts to improve the efficiency and efficacy of drug delivery. o WHO Essential Medicines: http://www.who.int/medicines/ § The International Network for Rational Drug Use (INRUD), a coalition of organizations devoted to testing and disseminating strategies to promote rational drug use also has significant resources on their website. INRUD has a twice-yearly newsletter that contains summaries of recent developments in the area and of the group’s activities.
