Conservation Ecologist

Welcome!  I am a PhD Candidate in the Fortin spatial ecology lab at the University of Toronto.  My research focuses on the conservation of species which require multiple habitats to complete their life cycle. These species are at high risk due to anthropogenic impacts in many different ecosystems.  I study what forces, natural and anthropogenic, act to structure communities, and how we can apply this knowledge to the design of reserve networks intended to protect these species.
