Flare!

Today I made a fair amount of progress adapting Flare as the visualization library for TracSNAP. So much so, that I was able to try it out on some actual projects. The StatsJam repository (which originally "blew up" JSViz) worked perfectly (despite every file being related to every other file). Next I tried using the NEMO climate model repository, with some success. It revealed some problems in my algorithms that I will fix (for example, when a lot of files (~100+) are checked in at the same time, there are too many relations and processing takes way too long). So overall, the switch to Flare seems very do-able, and I will hopefully have the visualizations done by the end of this week.

Fun side-note: When I came home tonight there was an abandoned stolen car in my driveway with windows broken and headlights on! I want to sleep but I have to wait for the police now. Yay. Pickering is turning into Scarborough.

Sounds great! I took a look at the Flare demos the other day and they do look very cool. Keep a note of what's involved in switching to Flare, as Brent will want to follow in your footsteps.
