I am currently a Mitacs Elevate Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Advanced Thermal & Fluid Optimization, Modelling, and Simulation (ATOMS) LaboratoryDepartment of Mechanical & Industrial EngineeringUniversity of Toronto.

I received my PhD degree from the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton, Canada) in 2009, MSc from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran) in 2005, and BSc from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (Mashhad, Iran) in 2003.

My research works focus on c
omputational modelling of transport phenomena in complex engineering systems using conventional and novel physics-based methodologies. Through these simulations, I analyze the performance, optimize the structure, and improve efficiency and reliability of such systems.

In addition to my research activities,
I manage two collaborative research projects with two globally leading companies, namely: Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Markham, ON, and Ballard Power Systems in Burnaby, BC.
