I was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in the year 2000. I used the name Wain Yee for the first 12 years of my life and adopted the name Kathy just before coming to Canada.
I finished my undergraduate degree in the Engineering Science program (computer option) at the University of Toronto and I graduated from my M.A.Sc. program in 2013. My supervisor is Professor
David Lie. My research interest is in the field of computer security, with special focus on security in mobile devices (Android).
