University of Toronto

I was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in the year 2000. I used the name Wain Yee for the first 12 years of my life and adopted the name Kathy just before coming to Canada.

I finished my undergraduate degree in the Engineering Science program (computer option) and I am currently a M.A.Sc. student studying at the University of Toronto. My supervisor is Professor David Lie. My research interest is in the field of computer security, with special focus on security in mobile devices (Android).

Building papermodels is one of my hobbies outside of the classroom. It is a very rewarding activity as you definitely feel a sense of pride when taking shots of the finished product :)
