Welcome to my website! I am a graduate from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Information.
My Ph.D. thesis was titled: Revisiting the Invisible College: A Case Study of the Intellectual Structure and Social Process of Singularity Theory Research in Mathematics (Zuccala, 2004). I am currently working for the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS), Leiden University, directed by Prof. Dr. Anthony van Raan. The strategy of CWTS is to conduct R&D in the field of quantitative studies of science and technology and to develop products, services and teaching activities that address the needs of science and technology policy and research management. Bibliometric analyses are used for the design and construction of quantitative indicators to study the development of science. CWTS applies this methodology for research evaluation and science mapping. |
