3:33 - It's definately "I never said I was frightened of dying," not "If you can hear this whisper, you're dying" as widely reported. One of the questions the band asked random people when conducting these interviews was "Why are you frightened of dying?" so this makes much more sense.

4:35 - Listen very carefully... the last chord seems to raise in pitch slightly and then go back down again as it fades, as though the tape machine slowed down just here as it was recording (this anomaly was originally noted in the Echoes FAQ but was also reported by FATSS reader Radu C). It's an anomaly that could very easily be fixed with a variable speed tape machine, or even a digital audio editing suite, but the band have left it in after so many remasters... perhaps it's intentional after all?
