About the Design for Climate & Comfort Lab

The Design for Climate & Comfort Lab works to improve the comfort, wellbeing, and energy efficiency of buildings and urban areas through data-driven processes. We produce high quality research with the goal of augmenting current design practice. To this end, new tools, simulation workflows, and performance metrics are created. We collaborate with diverse groups throughout the University of Toronto and worldwide, inlcuding social scientists, architects, urban designers, building engineers, and material scientists.
