I'm a PhD. student in Marc Cadotte's lab, at the University of Toronto's Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department. I am interested in how multiple species coexist. I also blog at the EEB and Flow.
I'm interested in that old cliched phrase in community ecology, "the causes and consequences of biodiversity". That is to say, my research falls into two categories: how diversity arises and is maintained in a community, particularly in relation to variation in disturbance or environment; and how that diversity is measured and conserved.
