I am a community ecologist broadly interested in the effects of temporal variation on community structure and diversity, how community structure alter community functioning, and the importance of considering evolutionary history as a form of diversity worthy of protection and conservation.

I am a currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado, Boulder, working with Brett Melbourne (EBIO). I completed my PhD. with Marc Cadotte in the University of Toronto's Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department in 2013.  I also blog at the EEB and Flow.
