Welcome to Metro Morning,
Toronto's Number One Morning Show

DEFINING MOMENTS

All this week, as grad ceremonies are going on across the city, we've been bringing you "Defining Moments", stories from high school graduates about the moment when they learned something about who they might become when they grow up. Charles Huang told the CBC's Mary Wiens that he knew he'd become an entrepreneur the day he was in Grade 5. And Joshua Garcia told Mary he remembers the exact day of his defining moment. Also this morning, (June 23/04), our musical guest Marilyn Lerner told Andy Barrie about her defining moment.

Andy Barrie is joined every morning by newsreader Jill Dempsey, traffic reporter Jim Curran, sports reporter Kevin Sylvester and business analyst Michael Hlinka.

Each Monday and Friday we feature entertainment expert Matt Galloway with What's Goin' On - your guide to interesting events around Toronto.

On Wednesdays we feature the music reviews of Errol Nazareth.

Metro Morning keeps listeners informed about what's going on in Toronto and offers listeners an optimistic, sometimes humorous view of the world, together with the day's more serious news.

We feature Commentary, a vehicle for both the well-known and the unknown to express their opinions on the issues of the day, and Beyond Burgers, Catherine Jheon's guide to inexpensive and delicious eating in Toronto. Jesse Wente and brother-sister team Cameron and Maxine Bailey provide movie reviews.

If you want to comment on a Metro Morning story, or just leave a message for Andy and the crew, you can call 416-205-5807, or e-mail us.
