1) Coupled physical and biogeochemical processes in inland and coastal waters
2) Pollutant dispersal and mixing: buoyant jets, plumes and gravity currents
3) Contaminated sediment management methods
4) Hydraulic Engineering through building with nature 
5) Coastal hydrodynamics and sediment transport
6) Hydrodynamic impact loading on coastal and offshore strucutres
