PizzA, like many of my compositions of recent years, has been assembled in Steinberg's audio application, WaveLab. This working environment harks back to older 'tape studio' techniques where two or more spliced tape successions are synchronized with multiple tape recorders. In this instance, five tape recorders are emulated --- tracks 1, 2, 4 are stereo; tracks 3 and 5 are mono. These are mixed down to two channel stereo.
