Here are the girls on day 18.
Monday we went in to meet Maureen who is Maddy's physiotherapist. Because of the contractures she has to her legs and arms Maddy gets four hours of physio every week day. That's an awful lot for a little girl, but she's tough and she's taking it pretty well.
Maureen is very pleased with the progress she's making but at some point the orthopedic surgeons from Sick Kids Hospital will come and see Maddy to assess what they will need to do to give her nice straight legs and feet that physio alone can't give her.

Just behind Maureen's head you can see a bag of blood. Maddy was given a transfusion that day. We can tell you that it had an amazing effect on her! Wait till you see the photos later in the week.
Meanwhile upstairs Emma was doing what she does best........sleep and look cute!

Mike got to take Emma out all by himself and hold her.
