Here are the girls on day 55.
We want to make an announcement - Today Maureen the physio was applying the tapes to Maddy's feet while Nancy watched. As Maureen was turning Maddy's feet out and over everything suddenly just "clicked" into place and there was one of her feet in a normal position!! Now that was pretty special but it just got better as Maureen moved the other foot and the same thing happened!!! Maureen didn't tape them in that position because she's trying to make small adjustments so that the ligaments and other connective tissue has time to make the transition from where Maddy started to where her feet will wind up - in a normal position. The great news in all of this is apart from the fact that it looks as though her ankle joints are aok she will not need nearly as many castings to bring her lower legs and feet into proper alignment. This was a great day.

"Get your hands up in the air and wave 'em like you just don't care!"

A change of outfit always seems to make Emma happy after her bath.

Her monitor leads are long enough so Emma is able to come out and be cuddled alongside Maddy's isolette.


Nancy's looking very excited because something we haven't seen in a long time is about to happen.

It's been so long since Nancy has been able to hold both the girls at once.

Maddy looks very curious about what's going on and who that is in her Mum's other arm.
