So because Nancy had ovulated 6 eggs Dr Librach decided to look around for any other "hitch hikers" and this is what he found!
"Barney" is measuring 6w 1d and 4.6mm.
Heart rate was 106bpm and a little muffled mostly because the other twin was right on top of "him".
This is when Mike came up with the Fred and Barney nicknames. Dr Librach had named them Baby A and Baby B and Mike saw one big one - A for Alfred - and one small one - B for Barney - and that was all it took.
Because "Barney" was measuring a day behind and had a slower heart rate Nancy was put on bed rest for a week to give Baby B a chance to catch up or if it was a case of "vanishing twin" syndrome to lessen the impact it would have on Baby A.
