Downtown Toronto Bachelor
Apartment Summer Sublet
$750/month, including
utilities
I am subletting my place below the rate I
have to pay in an effort to rent my place out as quickly as possible, as I have
final exams coming up.
Check out photos
here.
Address:
555 Sherbourne St.

- Available
May 1 - August 31, 2010. There is a possibility to extend beyond the summer,
but it's not guaranteed, as it's possible I will be back in September.
-
The
apartment building is owned by
Medallion
Corporation. No mandatory
paperwork is required by Medallion. I prefer if we set up a simple
agreement however.
- Furnished:
single bed, table, chairs, dining table, bookshelf, and microwave.
- No
dishwasher, so you'll have to do your own dishes!
- No
TV...but with the right antenna and USB converter, you can watch HD TV on
your computer (including stations in Buffalo). Yes it's legal :)
- Rent
includes all the usual utilities, but does not include Internet. You can
continue my subscription if you wish.
- There is a
balcony; it does get a little wet when it rains so I don't recommend using
it as storage.
- It's on
the 30th floor of highrise building. (Top floor is 31.) So you get a good
view. There are 4 elevators so the wait is okay. It's also pretty quiet up
here.
- Laundry
available in the building. $2 to wash, $1.50 to dry.
- Currently
it's very messy, but relatively clean. Rest assured most of my stuff
(except my furniture) will be gone by the time you move in.
-
Check out
the floor plan etc. for a bachelor apartment
here.
-
Bus stop
under building. <30s walk to No Frills supermarket, 1 min walk to
Shoppers Drug Mart, 5 min. walk to Sherbourne Subway Station.
-
McDonald's,
Subway Sandwiches, Pizza Pizza, a medical clinic are also within 5 min
walking distance.
-
1 min.
walk to rec center and Toronto Public Library (St. James Town branch).
-
No roaches
or bedbugs =)
-
Facing
east.

Yes you
will have the entire apartment to yourself.
I'm subletting my apartment
for the summer because I will be out-of-town. It's great for someone (or a
couple) who is serious about work/school but can also have some fun. It would
be great if you can take care of my furnishings, except normal wear and tear of
course.
The best way to reach me is
via email; I respond to inquiries diligently. If you would like to come see,
the best time is on weekends, but weekday evenings may also work.
