My Time at UofT
My association with the University of Toronto spans several decades and multiple roles. I first became familiar with the university in the 1970s through visits to OISE, where my father taught. During high school, I worked on educational video research projects as a videotape operator and transcript coder alongside graduate students at OISE.
I later completed a B.Sc. in Psychology at the St. George campus, followed by a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language through Woodsworth College. After spending three and a half years teaching in Japan, I returned to Toronto to teach for over two decades at the English Language Program at the School of Continuing Studies, located in the same OISE building where my father had once worked. During this period, I also completed an M.Ed. at OISE.
In 2021, I joined the Faculty of Arts & Science as an Educational and Collaborative Technology Specialist, where I continue to support teaching and learning through instructional design and educational technology.
