  • Differential diagnosis:

    • Long-standing (burnt out) Ulcerative Colitis

    • Granulomatous colitis

    • Unused bowel (bypassed colon with ileostomy)

    • Cathartic bowel (rare - usually Right colon and spares the rectum)

    • Colonic Amyloidosis

    • Scleroderma
