Case Summary

Diagnosis:  Linitis Plasitica


Clinical hints:

This patient had an infiltrating scirrhous gastric carcinoma. He had chronic epigastric pain and "dyspepsia" not relieved by antacids.


Radiological Pearls:
  • fixed contraction of the stomach
     
  • effaced gastric folds
     
  • Crohn's would involve duodenum
     
  • need endoscopy and deep biopsy
