Summary
Diagnosis: Ischemic Colitis
Clinical hints:
Diabetes, atrial fibrillation, and coagulopathies are
predisposing conditions. Rapid treatment needed (e.g. lytic
therapy, angioplasty).
Radiological Pearls:
- regional/diffuse mucosal changes
- splenic flexure commonest site
- plain films, CT, angio to diagnose
- may resolve, or lead to stricture
