Diagnosis: Medullary Sponge Kidney
Clinical hints:
This is a common diagnosis and the history is typical.
Contrast within ectatic renal tubules gives the "papillary
blush". Stones and renal colic are common complications.
Radiological Pearls:
- typical clusters of small calcns.
- IVP: typical "papillary blush"
- U/S: stones and r/o obstruction
- history and imaging: diagnostic
