Summary
Diagnosis: Giant Cell Tumor of the Knee
Clinical hints:
Giant cell tumors commonly occur at the ends of long bones, and
in the spine. They may be quite benign, or frankly aggressive
with distant metastases.
Radiological Pearls:
- expansile, lytic tumor
- commonly eccentric
- typical subarticular extension
- may show distant mets, e.g. lungs
