Case Summary

Diagnosis:  Maffucci's Syndrome


Clinical hints:

A very rare form of multiple enchondromatoses. Enchondromata are associated with soft tissue hemangiomata (phlebolith-like calcifications). The soft tissue masses may be pulsatile.



Radiological Pearls:
  • multiple expansile lesions
     
  • prominence in small bones
     
  • soft tissue mass and calcifications
     
  • chondrosarcomas may develop
