Summary
Diagnosis: Osteogenic Sarcoma
Clinical hints:
An unfortunately not uncommon, aggressive tumor. Most common
in adolescent boys. The knee is a common site. Prognosis has
improved with earlier diagnosis and more aggressive
chemotherapeutic and interventional techniques.
Radiological Pearls:
- exuberant tumor bone, typical
- marked periosteal tumor bone
- typical "sunray" appearance
- typical "Codman's Triangle"
