Summary
Diagnosis: Osteogenic Sarcoma of the Femur
Clinical hints:
This malignant bone tumor is common in adolescent males. It
commonly involves the ends of the long bones, the commonest
site is the knee. Subtle lytic changes may occur early on as
in this patient.
Radiological Pearls:
- early: may see only lytic lesion
- periosteal tumor bone
- soft tissue involvement
- widespread tumor bone: later
