Summary
Diagnosis: Metastatic Prostate Cancer
Clinical hints:
The history is typical. In older men, bone pain and sclerotic
bones usually means metastatic prostate cancer. U/S confirmed
the enlarged (and calcified) prostate and a biopsy showed
adenocarcinoma.
Radiological Pearls:
- U/S screening, and biopsy
- typical diffuse sclerotic bone mets
- bone scan positive , can follow Rx
- focal met simulates bone island
