Case Summary

Diagnosis:  Soft Tissue Hemangioma


Clinical hints:

This is a benign soft tissue tumor which may locally erode or scallop contiguous bony structures due to the pulsatility
of the tumor.


Radiological Pearls:
  • soft tissue mass, non-specific
     
  • clue: "phlebolith" calcifications
     
  • local bone erosion or scalloping
     
  • seen in Mafucci's syndrome, rare
