Summary
Diagnosis: Atrial Septal Defect
Clinical hints:
This woman was quite symptomatic. Her echocardiogram showed a
fairly large shunt ratio. She went on to shunt repair.
Pulmonary arterial hypertension and shunt reversal, are
serious complications.
Radiological Pearls:
- typical shunt vascularity
- enlarged right ventricle
- prominent central pulmonary artery
- not vascular redistribution: pitfall
