Summary
Diagnosis: PCP & Pneumothorax
Clinical hints:
Pneumothorax is a common complication of Pneumocystitis
carinii pneumonia. The infiltrate here is not marked and is
partially obscured by the pneumothorax.
Radiological Pearls:
- infrahilar interstitial disease
- changes may become confluent
- may present with ARDS
- pneumothorax common
