Summary
Diagnosis: Right Upper Lobe Atelectasis (cancer)
Clinical hints:
This smoker had a central cancer occluding the right upper
lobe bronchus, with almost complete right upper lobe
atelectasis.
Radiological Pearls:
- elevation of the minor fissure
- retro-sternal density on lateral
- elevation of the right diaphragm
- look for central tumor mass
