Summary
Diagnosis: Tuberculosis (Pleural Fibrosis and
Calcification)
Clinical hints:
Massive pleural thickening and fibrosis are often seen as a
result of tuberculosis. Major lung restriction and ventilation
problems may occur as complications.
Radiological Pearls:
- thickened pleurae
- pleura often densely calcified
- other changes of tuberculosis
- volume loss and lung restriction
