Summary
Diagnosis: Aortic Stenosis
Clinical hints:
Shortness of breath and fatigue. Frequent coronary ostia
involvement and angina pectoris. May lead to left ventricular
failure. Left ventricular hypertrophy precedes chamber
enlargement.
Radiological Pearls:
- Classic triad:
- valve calcification
- post-stenotic aortic dilatation
- left ventricular enlargement
- may present with "heart failure"
