There is evidence of chronic lung disease changes with hyperinflation. The vertical height of the lung is increased.





There is marked "tram-tracking" or thickening of bronchial walls, as well as "crowding" of the bronchi and vessels in the lung bases. "Crowding" indicates volume loss or atelectasis.
