Case Summary

Diagnosis:  Metastatic Giant Cell Tumour


Clinical hints:

This patient was being treated for a malignant giant cell tumour of the knee. Despite treatment, he developed widespread pulmonary metastases.


Radiological Pearls:
  • metastases typically lower lung
     
  • varying size of tumour nodules
     
  • metastases may cavitate
     
  • often effusions and adenopathy
