Summary
Diagnosis: Intrathoracic Goitre
Clinical hints:
These patient are often asymptomatic. Symptoms are usually
mechanical in origin, typically due to compression of the
trachea or esophagus.
Radiological Pearls:
- can be traced up to thoracic inlet
- may affect trachea or esophagus
- typically retro-sternal in position
- CT very useful for diagnosis
