Case
Summary
Diagnosis: Neural Tumour
Clinical hints:
This posterior mediastinal mass proved to be a benign neural
tumor (neurofibroma). Majority of such masses in adults
are due to benign neural tumors.
Radiological Pearls:
- commonest post. mediastinal mass
- may involve neural foramen
- rarely, it's a thoracic meningocele
- myelography, CT, MRI all used
Films were kindly provided by Dr. W. J. Weiser.
