Case
Summary
Diagnosis: Primary Tuberculosis
Clinical hints:
Tuberculosis is often misdiagnosed clinically and
radiologically. It must always be considered in the
differential diagnosis. Tuberculosis is a great imitator, with
many presentations.
Radiological Pearls:
- peripheral infiltrate seen, with
- ipsilateral adenopathy
- diffuse infiltrates common
- pleural effusions and miliary disease sometimes seen
Films were kindly provided by Dr. W. J. Weiser.
