Summary
Diagnosis: Pulmonary Embolus
Clinical hints:
This is a difficult clinical diagnosis. It is often over or
under-diagnosed. Chest pain and hypoxemia are common. Must
always suspect this condition.
Radiological Pearls:
- normal chest x-ray 50% of time
- infilrates most common
- may be seen with atelectasis
- pleural effusion often present
