Case
Summary
Diagnosis: Post-Primary Tuberculosis (Reactivation
Tuberculosis)
Clinical hints:
A great imitator clinically and radiologically. Must always be
suspected. Unfortunately, this diagnosis is often missed at
first.
Radiological Pearls:
- upper lung changes most marked
- thickened and calcified pleura
- marked fibrosis and volume loss
- picture may be bizarre or "wild"
Films were kindly provided by Dr. W. J. Weiser.
