Case Summary

Diagnosis:  Post-Primary Tuberculosis (Reactivation Tuberculosis)


Clinical hints:

A great imitator clinically and radiologically. Must always be suspected. Unfortunately, this diagnosis is often missed at first.


Radiological Pearls:
  • upper lung changes most marked
     
  • thickened and calcified pleura
     
  • marked fibrosis and volume loss
     
  • picture may be bizarre or "wild"
