Summary
Diagnosis: Varicella Pneumonia
Clinical hints:
This patient had chicken-pox. Varicella pneumonia often shows
only mild non-specific
x-ray findings. Secondary bacterial pneumonia can be a serious
complication.
Radiological Pearls:
- nodular patchy infiltrates usual
- may be mild transitory infiltrates
- hilar adenopathy sometimes seen
- tiny calcifications may be marker
