Case Summary

Diagnosis:  Epidermoid Cyst

Clinical hints:

These lesions are almost always detected incidentally. Rarely a soft tissue mass may be felt in the region of the orbit.


Radiological Pearls:
  • typical, with sclerotic margin
     
  • eosinophilic gran. , no sclerosis
     
  • CT: to rule out intracranial part
     
  • Bone scan: rule out osteomyelitis
