Case Summary

Diagnosis:  Glioblastoma Multiforme

Clinical hints:

There is a typical history of progressive headache. Neurologic deficits depend on the site of the tumor. The new onset of seizures occurs.


Radiological Pearls:
  • mixed density lesion
     
  • "ring" enhancement on CT
     
  • beware of adult onset seizures
     
  • CT diagnostic, MRI better
