Case Summary

Diagnosis:  Low Grade Glioma

Clinical hints:

Symptoms may be quite chronic in duration and non-specific and depend on site of tumor. With adult onset seizures, need to rule out brain tumor.


Radiological Pearls:
  • lesion without edema or necrosis
     
  • generally CT done first
     
  • MRI superior (reconstructions)
     
  • biopsy for tissue diagnosis
