Case Summary

Diagnosis:  Depressed Skull Fracture

Clinical hints:

May present with seizures and intracranial bleeding. Needs surgical correction of depression and removal of any intracranial fragments.


Radiological Pearls:
  • may see density and no # lines
     
  • need to get tangential plain views
     
  • may see intracranial air
     
  • always need CT to assess
