Microeconomic
Tools for Strategy Research
|
This is a series of video lectures providing an introduction
to microeconomic modeling. They include material I used in Ph.D. courses taught
at the University of Toronto. They are aimed to be accessible to
non-economists, although some basic knowledge of calculus and game theory may
be useful to follow the material. The videos are low-tech because, when it
comes to modeling, I love the traditional chalk and blackboard approach!
Video 1: Modeling innovation and property rights
Video 2: Modeling competitive advantage
Video
3: Modeling regional ecosystems
Video
4: Modeling entrepreneurship
Video 5: Modeling bargaining and
negotiations
Video
6: Modeling CEOs and managers
