Below are translations of GC members' diaries,
which could be found on their offcial website http://www.garnetcrow.com.
The translations are in no way guranteed to be accurate.
Right now only Oct entry is available. I'm working backwards... |

Recently we see a surge of cases where schools don't offer required
subjects...
I didn't know World History has also become a required subject??
I wasn't good at it coz I couldn't remember those katakanas. Japanese
history was easier for me in that respect. Speaking of now, I'm
not that bad at world history though.Compared to memorising historical
backgrounds as a routine, it's easier to learn from historical movies.
And it's also easier to learn international relationships through
watching sports shows (killing one bird with two stones^^). |

This's Yurippe from the survey & feedback department.
I received a lot of comments and reviews from fans who've heard
the new album. Thank you everyone! I'm so happy!
Comments range from one sentence to essay style long paragraphs
or free verses. There're also people who talk about their outlooks
on life. Thanks again to all of you who show your support and love
for GARNET CROW in different ways.
Recently we wrote a lot of new songs, at a speed even faster than
before the album was released.
Why are we in such an frighteningly productive mode? Anyway we
are doing our best to write beautiful melodies to share with all
of you. Before that, enjoy the new album! And remeber to come to
our live concert in Dec. We look forward to seeing you! |

Did you guys watch Yuri-san's YAHOO! interview last week?
I was worried about the outdated internet connection back home
but fortunately I finished watching it without a hitch. It was amazing
to see real people on screen. I started thinking 'Wow this's something!
Now we see our own members making appearance on TV!'
When Yuri was passing comments on other memebers, she mentioned
that I'm also a DJ and a skilled speaker. I so wanted to send her
an instant message to correct that!! Although I wasn't the one interviewed,
just hearing myself being mentioned was enough to send my heart
beat wildly. I was really nervous lol.
The theme for yesterday's 'ON AIR' was 'unexpected.' Here's the
programme list.
(note, 'ON AIR' is a radio programme hosted by Okamoto)
Ash / WILD SURF
RAZORLIGHT / America
Jamiroquai / Virtual Insanity
Lily Allen / Not Big |

I just woke up and right now I have newspaper in my hand and I
have the whole park to myself.
The leaves start to crackle as winter approaches. I love the soft
sound of autumn wind brushing against foliage.
The reason I come to bigger park like this is to enjoy this kind
of atmosphere... But, all I have is dead insect shells, mosquito
bites and stifled wind. Totally unromantic!
Have I fallen into a situation where even tiny wishes like these
cannot be granted?? I'll just wait a bit more before twilight comes.

Has everyone been listening to 'THE TWILIGHT VALLEY'? I am hoping
everyday that the album could spread to more people by words of
mouth.
Here's an annoucement.
Starting from Oct 31st, Gyao TV provides online watching of the
entire Premium live concert.
The online video is the complete version of the DVD clip you find
in the premium version of 'THE TWILIGHT VALLEY' and you'll also
see MC and much more. The premium live concert was held in a glorious
place with a rich cultural history and our make up and dressing
code was also quite different from usual (the code is 'formal').
So don't miss it! |

At this time of the year, I'm always reminded of how hard I worked
during sports meetings and cultural festivals back in school.
During sports meeting, It was dangerous to carry out any intense
exercise without proper warming up. Before short distance run, you
stand on one foot and stretch the upper body and then flex yours
knees to relax yourself.
If I try to run as hard as I can nowadays, I'll probably hurt my
limbs. Or so I thought.
The theme for the radio programme on Sunday is 'motivating songs'.
Shania Twain / UP!
Simple Plan / Jump
Daniel Powter / Bad Day
Marion Raven / Little By Little

It's getting cooler day by day, like the travelling sky.
Last month I finally bought the long wanted mountain motorcycle.
I ride on it many times each day as long as I have the time and
energy.
Does anyone have the CD from the first week GC debuted? It's interesting
to see this kind of cycle. (translation note: not sure what this
means.)
It's been a couple of years since we debuted. Time really flies.
Hurts... it hurts a lot. A few years from now when I think of our
5th album, I'll probably feel sad all over again. |

2006 Oct 3 | Hitoshi Okamoto
We recieved a looooooot of donations for the 'synchronization activiity'
of the new single. (translation note: not sure what activity it
is...) Thanks a bunch!! We've gone through all of them.
Then there's the new album. It's been 2 years since the release
of the previous album. We put blood into it and it's top notch quality.
Hope it could become everyone's favourite in all kinds of daily
occasions. Hope you like it! |

2006 Oct 2 | Hirohito Furui
