7th year celebration project I - Your Best Lyrics

Go to GC's Official website, click on the box (picture above) and fill out an 'application form'. Write down your favourite GC lyrics and state the reasons. (You can write in English). My favourite is 'Sen ijou no kotoba wo narabete mo...' (even lining up a thousand words, their 4th single).

As you know (or don't), 2007 is the 7th year since GC's debut. '7' is a special no. since the lyricist Azuki NANA has '7' in her name (NANA = 7 in Japanese) and both her and Yuri's b-day are in July. Arranger Furui's b-day also falls on the 7th.

Last Dec, GC held their 5th anniversary Premium live concert, which unlike the rest of their major concerts, wasn't made available in DVD. Nevertheless, short clip collection from tihs concert can be found in the premium version of their 5th album 'The Twilight Valley'. Starting Oct.18th, GYAO company made the entire concert available on the internet for public viewing (see programme menu below).

USEN is the biggest broadcasting company in Japan. Ever since 'Maboroshi' appeared as the theme of TV series 《新・科捜研の女》, it had attracted wide attention from listeners who flooded the station with questions regarding the mysterious band and their unique song writing and lyrical style. The song ended up as the top requested from Aug25 - Sep21.

heavenlypigsty: Some more explanations on 'podcasts'. They're not so different from normal radio programs, except that you'll have to go to those websites to download the files. There's no direct relation between iPod and podcast (I originally thought only iPod can play podcasts!) The above podcast is in mp3 format so you should have no problem playing it ^^

Reporter k speaking : surprising there're so many activities going on right before the release of their upcoming 5th album! They're super high this year! "風とRAINBOW" is to be aired as the new opening of anime series MAR on Oct 1st ... I suspect GC's releasing 6 singles in a row to compensate for not being able to release 5 during their 5th anniversary last year.
