Big Brown Bat

A friend of mine called me to their apartment when they found this Big Brown Bat. Likely it was hibernating in the building and woke up during a warm spell. This species is the most common bat in Ontario wintering in buildings. I photographed this individual in Peterborough, Ontario during November, 2005.
